Our journey
We are practitioners, not presenters. Every person who walks your floor has run one.
Ethical Kaizen is a lean manufacturing consultancy built on the Toyota Production System as it was actually practiced, a management philosophy and a way of developing people. We work on-site with manufacturers worldwide.

What "True Lean" Means — And Why We Insist on the Distinction
True Lean means treating lean as a management system. The tools are the visible surface of something deeper: a way of seeing work, developing people, and solving problems that has to be practiced by leadership before it can be expected of anyone else. A plant can install every tool in the Toyota Production System and change nothing, because the tools were never the mechanism. The mechanism is how people think and how leaders lead.
How We Started
Ethical Kaizen was founded in 2024 by Tony Chamblin, after 14 years working across other consultancies. Prior to that, he had a 25-year career as a plant operator, team leader, then group leader at Toyota's manufacturing facility in Georgetown, KY.
We built Ethical Kaizen to enable capability transfer and with the willingness to confront issues with a pragmatic approach towards lasting solutions.
